Council 104 is located in the area of Withington village, in the suburbs of south Manchester. Its base is in the parish church of St Bernadette on Princess Road. The Grand Knight is Robert Sherlock. You can contact the Knights at Council 104 by phone on 0161 881 3587 or by email at council104


Business meetings take place twice monthly in the church hall at St Bernadette's. Action and welfare meetings; proceeded by the Rosary Prayer, are held on the 1st Tuesday at 7.30pm. Full council meetings are conducted on the 2nd Tuesday commencing at 7.30pm. Members are encouraged to attend both meetings.


Council 104 was founded in Manchester in 1925. During its lifespan the Council has been located in a number of parishes, as the council moved its meeting place and premises. For further information on the background of the council please refer to the history page of Council 104.

The Council currently covers the parishes of the St Ambrose Barlow (South Manchester) Deanery, in Salford Diocese. It works closely with the communities and churches of Withington, Didsbury, Fallowfield, Burnage and Chorlton providing support and funds for various projects.

There are presently 30 members of Council 104 with an age profile ranging from 30 to 80. Many members, who are involved in council work, are also active participants in their own parishes.
